I think the bug may have been instigated while under a potion buff from restoration i unequiped and re-equiped some items with an alchemy perk and noticed that the next potion I could create was much higher, did this again a few times and it wasnt long before I was creating crazy potions.

I ask because it takes less than 500 ingots smithing iron daggers when using the xp bonuses that are scattered about. This works by either getting the conjuration perk to add soul trap to bound weapons (and using the bound bow imo), or adding a short duration soul trap to a weapon.
