Most people are only there for a few days and you have a choice - stay in the valley, which means maying a bit more but enjoying more of Yosemite, or staying outside and driving in. The Lodge is all about location being able to stay in the park and seeing deer outside your room is something special! The breakfast and lunch in the Lodge is canteen which is fine for grabbing something before a hike round the park
