If some want to argue semantics that he was a federal attorney and merely referred to as a District Attorney, that argument will fail because such positions are appointed by the President of the United States. Vertigo comix line, is basically the line of comix that gave DC its acclaim at literary genius, and basically saved the line of comix, at DC from credible hell, in the mid to late eighties

It gives us more time to investigate together who the people we are designing for might be, and how they develop into their look at the start of the story. It would not be the kind of menswear for James Bond, for instance, but using designers for product placement in this way can benefit the costume budget, and providing they let you design the garment and choose the fabrics yourself, you are not compromising your character

The first story comes from that issue; though the concept of Batman being presumed a metahuman is also touched upon in most post-Zero Hour retellings of Superman's first contact with Batman. The title, "Legends of the Dark Knight", was used for a series that ran from 1989 to 1993 (and had a second run as Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight until 2007)

In this film Batman, Gordon and Harvey D are forced to deal with the chaos that has been unleashed by the Joker which drives each of them to their limits. The Dark Knight (2008): Heath Ledger will forever be remembered NOT for being in Brokeback Mountain, NOT for being in A Knight's Tale, and certainly NOT for being in the Brothers Grimm

I also think that removing Alfred and therefore much of the humanity and humour from the equation was a mistake and I would have liked a little more ambiguity (a la Inception) as to the fate of the character. Plus I could also point out that the story is basically Rocky III crossed with Star Wars with yet another generic race against time tacked onto the end

He talks about how he is interested in how people have a subjective view of the world and yet we all believe there is an objective world out there, if only we could work it out. Bruce in each film clearly demonstrates a lack of ability to fully assess and deal with his personal situations, and even some of the problems in the plots

Joker's Accomplice: What is the name of the Joker's accomplice? His name is not mentioned in the article, but he plays a fairly important role in the story, first sabotaging Two-Face's bombs and later aiding the Joker. Given that DKR contains several references to Batman continuity that the reader is simply expected to know, I had always assumed this was some well-known associate of the Joker or other Batman villain that I had never seen before

In the murder tape he sent to the media, the Joker viciously mocks Brian Douglas (Batman impersonator) as well as terrorize him to the point of leaving him absolutely frozen and weeping, as well as taunting his beliefs and his actions. When his weapons are catalogued during his arrest, Gordon remarked that there was "nothing in his pockets but knives and lint" and indeed, at least a dozen different knives are shown being withdrawn from the Joker's various pockets

Take a bow, bat-crew, for a trilogy that has now set the bar for any comic book film, and especially any other follow Batman movie, reboot or otherwise, to live up to. There may be some similar fears with the introduction of a fairly contemporary villain in Bane, but the story gave him more purpose and meaning, and Tom Hardy was excellent par none in this role as the compete villain - with plenty of brawn, merciless, masterful, and with a plan any terrorist would be proud of

Fans were so anxious to get into the theaters to see the new Batman film that babies, and elementary school age children were brought to a midnight showing (of a movie that is almost 3 hours in length) to see a movie that features graphic violence, terrorist attacks, torture, mass killings and large-scale destruction.
