Re: Texas towns near San Antonio Jun 15, 2005, 9:14 AM marin, if you really want to get away, then explore highway 173 from bandera to medina to vanderpool and points beyond....even out to the Frio River, which is very beautiful. I agree with TexasHam and would recommend the areas north and northwest of San Antonio (the area between IH10 West and 281 North), and also believe that you need to come down and visit to see if any of these areas fit your needs

So...if we do ultimately decide to go public, is the AHISD district far superior than the NEISD? We live off of Bulverde and 1604, so my daughter would go to Longs Creek Elementary School, if she were to go to public. While she is only two, I know that time flies and I would like to have plenty of time to review this information and visit the pertinent schools during the next couple of years
