yes on modern systems no on the 1983 IBM PC xt, (first with HDD) no with 2001 systems (had XP) and has hardware no longer supported by the hard ware maker, most are Defunct, now. If one is still skeptical and would want to stick to 32bits, then I would advise not to waste money on the extra GB of RAM, 2 to 3 GB shud be enough for your machine. Why push for 64-bit now anyway? The performance gains promised by 64-bit will not be seen for years until 64-bit compiled versions of software is the norm

Any of ytou guys have this problem too? Anyway this problem occured after I installed SP2 for Vista, did not have this problem prior to the installation. But mine comes good if i just unplug and re-plug it back in I've mucked around with the sleep settings, and tried a few other things to no avail (including installing the drivers from this thread)
