Mount an ISO image in Windows 7, Windows 8, 10, or Vista
I know I want to mount a .iso file and I can google for that, but I get a list of utilities, paid and free, not knowing which might be like tossing my PC into a brier patch. It does well at file manipulations on ISOs, but after looking at the help files and the forum on their web site I found no way of mounting an ISO with it

Windows 8 Pro Upgrade Edition - Upgrade from Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (PC): Amazon.co.uk: Software
The installation was fairly quick and I had Windows 8 installed on my machine in under 1 hour.Windows 8 had installed most drivers apart from my printer, Wireless Adapter and Graphics Card. This has replaced the old start menu and pulls apps and services together into this one screen presented as "live tiles" integrating deeply with Windows Live and it's services. The look and feel is now very clearly optimised for tablets and it's going to be a shock to the system for a lot of people and you have to question whether it's of any real use to Windows 7 users who have all they need.Programs are all now available via the "apps" search from the start screen, you need to search for them and can then pin them to there or your task bar
Also chances are that if you're running XP, you might not meet the minimum requirements for Windows 7 - check the compatibility site at Microsoft to see if your system will support Windows 7. Let's get to the nitty gritty:Should you upgrade from Windows Vista? YES! I mean it - upgrade today.Windows 7 is quite simply faster, more stable, boots faster, goes to sleep faster, comes back from sleep faster, manages your files better and on top of that it's beautiful to look at and easy to use
This OEM System Builder Channel software requires the assembler to provide end user support for the Windows software and cannot be transferred to another computer once it is installed. Denied.I had to install WIN7 with an older copy, then use the Key Code from the the new copy, to get WIN7 to work on AHCI.Of course, this took 2-3 Days of trying to find out what is wrong...If only I had not misplaced my old WIN7 Disc..

Microsoft Windows 7 review - CNET
Features: Taskbar and Aero Peek Although the look of Windows 7 may seem to be nothing more than some polish applied liberally to the Vista Aero theme, make no mistake: This is a full replacement operating system, and more than just "Vista done right." From driver support to multitouch groundwork for the future, from better battery management to the most easy-to-use interface Microsoft has ever had, Windows 7 is hardly half-baked. Windows Media Player's mini mode looks much slicker, emphasizing the album art--sometimes at the expense of clearly seeing the controls, but it's a definite improvement
The benefits of using a 64-bit operating system are most apparent when you have a large amount of random access memory (RAM) installed on your computer, typically 4 GB of RAM or more. How do I tell if my computer can run a 64-bit version of Windows? To run a 64-bit version of Windows, your computer must have a 64-bit-capable processor
Clean Install Windows 7 with Upgrade Media
Upgrade versions of Windows 7 are far more common than Full versions, both because they are less expensive and because Microsoft offered (and in some cases is still offering) exceptionally cheap pricing on Upgrade media. For Method 3, the double install, Windows does not accept my original disk for the upgrade, a message pops up saying that my installed version is newer than the one in the disk and stops the upgrade (I have left Win update complete all the updates without interruption)
