I went this ride in july 2011 but only jsut dicovered this website this week! when I listened to the story I felt petriflyed but my when i got on the ride I was enjoying it loads! Any way when i got back i looked up the story of the HEX and it would appear that the ride itself is in a building made for it, just out side, you can go to the alton towers web site and see how they made the rides, and the pictures of the exterior of the HEX ride
