Last time I had a dealer top mine off (small leak) before I got my tran temp gauge and dipstick, they overfilled it by a full quart (which I found out a week later when we installed the temp gauge). I bought the car used in December and I've had it in for service twice, I honestly can't recall ever noticing whether or not it had a dipstick, so I either bought it without one or one of the techs working on it removed it and failed to put it back

Question from a noob - Chrysler 300 Forum - Forums and Owners Club!
Love the car looks great but ive always been a chevy man i had the check engine light come on and did a old method of manually checking your car, i turned the igniton from off to on 3 times and on the display it showed a code of 2098 and then said done. First the car is leaning to one side so i hink a shock went bad, second wierd shifthing from thr tranny, third bad gas mileage, four window motor problems
The A4wd front differentials are similar but they do not have an electric actuator and they do not actually use the disconnect assembly to disengage the 4WD. Most vehicle owners complain about a rough idle or a misfire when the engine is cold, and as the engine warms up the problem goes away??? But, leaving your check engine light on, with codes PO300, PO171 and PO174

Put a rag under and around this to keep fuel from spraying out all over and press on the center release valve after you have turned the ignition key to on but not started the engine
After the install my check engine light came on, so I checked the code and it said EGR valve, unfortunately I ignored it, as it would go off after shutting the engine off. the car runs pretty smooth and the check engine light only comes on when on the expressways or thruways when doing at least 60 mph but as soon as i turn car off it goes out
Vacuum leaks at the upper lip seal are a common source of trouble after one of these repairs because the vacuum leak it creates inspires the ETC lamp to illuminate, limiting engine power and even causing misfire.Let me know if you have any questions or problems. The EGR position sensor is used as a method of feedback, verification that the valve had moved and by HOW much. When P0406 shows up, it usually means there is an open circuit in the actual EGR position sensor, which is built into the EGR valve assembly itself and is serviced only with a new valve
Checked the code and it is showing as P0406 vagao198122 May 24, 2009 I also have a similar problem with my Chrysler 300 3.5V Touring 2005.Is this a common problem with this type of cars?Would I be able to find the EGR valve at a local Auto Zone for sale? Your EGR Valve lowers the temperature of the engine and halts the formation of gasses called NOX gasses, which will usually cause your car to not pass emissions testing. Enthusiasts who acquire a Chrysler 300 know that performance and elegance are well worth the cost; the right parts can keep your car or truck in the best condition
