Btw, is work you do for a university society considered volunteer work IF it doesn't involve actual, traditional volunteer work? For instance, you might do a lot of work for a Chocolate Appreciation Society or something but isn't anything philanthropic so its technically not volunteer work. So will having some volunteer experience look good, to show I do get out and do stuff, or will it just draw attention to the fact I don't regularly work in a homeless shelter and have never built water pumps for people overseas? I can't decide whether it's relevant or not
